Product Description
Bridge Expansion Joint, Modular Expansion Joint
Features:
1. Sturdy and Reliable
Crafted from robust 16Mn rolled steel, the side and middle beams of this expansion joint are engineered to endure the heavy vertical loads of high-traffic, large-tonnage vehicles and withstand horizontal impacts. Its anchoring members are securely welded to the embedded steel of the bridge deck, ensuring the vehicle load is reliably transferred to the abutment. This results in a structurally sound and durable joint, perfectly suited for design loads of steam - over 20, hanging - 120 for bridges.
2. Sensitive Expansion
Equipped with a state-of-the-art displacement control system, this device utilizes spring elements such as rubber springs, PTFE pressure bearings, or inclined support members. It ensures uniform displacement and minimal friction during expansion and contraction within each group.
3. Smooth Bridge Deck, Comfortable Traveling
This innovative design not only allows for the free expansion and contraction of the beam but also ensures that the bridge deck joints form a smooth, seamless surface. This guarantees a smooth and comfortable driving experience.
4. Water Stopping and Corrosion Prevention
Featuring a neoprene rubber sealing strip embedded within the groove of each steel beam group, this design offers excellent elastic deformation and a reliable waterproof and dustproof function. This effectively protects the internal components of the expansion joints and the bottom bearing from erosion.
5. Large Displacement, Convenient Selection
Designed and manufactured according to a modular system, the displacement of this device ranges from 80 to 1200mm. This allows bridge design and construction departments the flexibility to choose according to the actual expansion and contraction requirements of the bridge superstructure.
Telescopic Resistance:
Single-seam Expansion Joint
1. The compression force is 0.1KN/m during contraction.
2. Longitudinal shear force within the working range of the expansion joint is 2.0KN/m.
Multi-seam Expansion Joint
1. Compression force during contraction 0.1KN/m
2. Tensile force during stretching is 4.0KN/m
