Product Description
Applications: Bridge Expansion Joint, Modular Expansion Joint
Features:
1. Sturdy and Reliable
Crafted with rolled 16Mn steel, the side and middle beams of this expansion joint are engineered to endure immense vertical loads from high traffic and heavy vehicles, as well as withstand significant horizontal impacts. The robust anchoring members, firmly welded to the embedded steel in the bridge deck, ensure the vehicle load is reliably transferred to the abutment. This structural integrity guarantees durability and is specifically designed to handle steam loads over 20 tons and hanging loads up to 120 tons.
2. Sensitive Expansion
This device features an advanced displacement control system comprising rubber springs, PTFE pressure bearings, or inclined support members. These components ensure a uniform displacement with minimal friction during expansion and contraction, providing a smooth and seamless performance in each operational group.
3. Smooth Bridge Deck, Comfortable Traveling
Engineered to facilitate the free expansion and contraction of the beam, this device ensures that the bridge deck joints create a smooth, unified surface. This design supports a comfortable and fluid driving experience.
4. Water Stopping and Corrosion Prevention
Each group of steel beams features a neoprene rubber sealing strip embedded in a groove, fully processed to match the bridge width. This seal provides excellent elastic deformation, waterproofing, and dustproofing, effectively protecting the internal components of the expansion joints and the bearing surfaces from erosion.
5. Large Displacement, Convenient Selection
Designed with modularity in mind, this device offers displacement options ranging from 80 to 1200mm. Bridge design and construction departments can easily select the appropriate displacement to match the actual expansion and contraction needs of the bridge's superstructure.
Telescopic Resistance:
Single-Seam Expansion Joint
1. The compression force during contraction is 0.1KN/m.
2. Longitudinal shear force within the working range of the expansion joint is 2.0KN/m.
Multi-Seam Expansion Joint
1. The compression force during contraction is 0.1KN/m.
2. The tensile force during stretching is 4.0KN/m.
