They have successfully passed rigorous scientific and technological achievement appraisals (Shaan Ke Jian Zi [2010] No. 097) and related certifications. Furthermore, they have been upgraded to the transportation industry standard of the People's Republic of China (JT 2009-26). These isolators are ideally suited for various types of highways and municipal bridges situated in regions with earthquake intensities of up to 9 degrees.
Isolation rubber bearings are not only equipped with all the functionalities of plate bearings but also boast exceptional isolation performance, dramatically mitigating earthquake-induced damage to bridges. High damping rubber bearings, a specialized type of isolation rubber bearing, are crafted from advanced high damping rubber materials, achieving an impressive damping ratio of 10% to 16%. Although their shape and structure mirror those of natural rubber bearings, the high viscosity of their rubber material allows for superior energy absorption and remarkable ductility. This innovative design can prolong the natural vibration period of structures during earthquakes, diminishing seismic forces, and leveraging energy dissipation characteristics to provide robust seismic isolation, comparable to the performance of lead core sandwich rubber bearings.
