Comprehensive Product Description
Product Variants: Bridge Expansion Joint, Modular Expansion Joint
Impressive Features:
1. Sturdy and Reliable
Crafted from robust rolled 16Mn steel, the side beams and middle beams of our Modular Bridge Expansion Joint System are designed to withstand significant vertical loads from heavy traffic and large tonnage vehicles, along with horizontal impacts. The anchoring members, firmly welded to the embedded steel in the bridge deck, ensure the vehicle load is reliably transferred to the abutment. This structural integrity makes it highly durable, suitable for bridges with a design load of steam-over 20 and hanging-120.
2. Responsive Expansion
The displacement control system incorporates spring elements such as rubber springs, PTFE pressure bearings, or inclined support members. This ensures uniform displacement with minimal friction during expansion and contraction for each group.
3. Smooth Bridge Deck for Comfortable Traveling
Our system not only allows the beam to freely expand and contract but also ensures the bridge deck joints form a smooth, unified surface. This results in an effortless and comfortable driving experience.
4. Water-Resistant and Corrosion-Proof
Each steel beam group features an embedded neoprene rubber sealing strip, processed according to the bridge width. This sealing strip provides excellent elastic deformation, waterproofing, and dust-proofing capabilities, effectively protecting the internal components and bottom bearings of the expansion joints from erosion.
5. Significant Displacement and Easy Selection
Our device offers a displacement range designed and manufactured according to the modulus, spanning from 80 to 1200mm. Bridge design and construction departments have the flexibility to choose based on the actual expansion and contraction needs of the bridge superstructure.
