Primary Operational Principle of Modular Multi-Group Joints:
1. Support Transmission System
When high-speed vehicles traverse the expansion and contraction device, they generate reactive forces in both vertical and horizontal directions. The central beam of the device is firmly mounted on a supporting crossbeam spanning the primary spacing, forming a robust force-bearing structure. This arrangement ensures that the reactive forces are evenly distributed to the device's edges. Simultaneously, the entire system moves in harmony with the bridge deck's expansion and contraction movements.
2. Elastic Control System
The interface between the supporting crossbeam and the pressure/compression bearings features a sliding surface. Using spring-controlled mechanisms, the expansion device adapts seamlessly to the bridge's continuous deformations, maintaining uniformly consistent gaps. For seam widths greater than 35mm, the sealing tape can be replaced effortlessly without causing any structural damage.
3. Waterproofness
Our expertly designed sealing rubber strip not only effectively seals the gaps between the steel beams but also gracefully accommodates structural shifts due to expansion and contraction. The beam end of the rubber strip is precisely engineered to fit snugly into the groove of the steel profile, ensuring a secure, durable, and long-lasting seal.
