Product Description
Bridge Expansion Joint, Modular Expansion Joint
Features:
1. Sturdy and Reliable
The side beams and middle beams of this expansion joint are crafted from premium rolled 16Mn steel, ensuring robust performance that withstands vertical loads from high-traffic, heavy-tonnage vehicles and horizontal impacts. Firmly welded anchoring members connect the beams seamlessly to the embedded steel of the bridge deck, allowing for reliable transfer of vehicle loads to the abutment. This structural integrity ensures durability and makes it suitable for bridge designs with steam loads over 20 tons and hanging loads up to 120 tons.
2. Sensitive Expansion
This device features a sophisticated displacement control system comprised of spring elements, including rubber springs, PTFE pressure bearings, or inclined support members. This design ensures uniform displacement across all groups and minimizes friction during expansion and contraction.
3. Smooth Bridge Deck, Comfortable Traveling
Our device guarantees free expansion and contraction displacement of the beam, creating a smooth and unified bridge deck joint. This design ensures a seamless driving experience, delivering smoothness and comfort to travelers.
4. Water Stopping and Corrosion Prevention
Embedded in the groove of each steel beam group, the neoprene rubber sealing strip offers excellent elastic deformation, waterproof, and dustproof functions. This feature effectively protects internal components and bottom bearings of the expansion joints from erosion, ensuring long-term durability.
5. Large Displacement, Convenient Selection
Designed with flexibility in mind, the displacement of this device ranges from 80 to 1200mm, allowing bridge design and construction departments to select the appropriate module based on the actual expansion and contraction needs of the bridge superstructure.
Telescopic Resistance:
Single-Seam Expansion Joint
1. The compression force is 0.1KN/m during contraction.
2. Longitudinal shear force within the working range of the expansion joint is 2.0KN/m.
Multi-Seam Expansion Joint
1. Compression force during contraction is 0.1KN/m.
2. Tensile force during stretching is 4.0KN/m.
