Product Description
Bridge Expansion Joint, Modular Expansion Joint
Features:
1. Sturdy and Reliable
Crafted from rolled 16Mn steel, the side and middle beams of this expansion joint exhibit exceptional strength, capable of enduring the vertical loads of heavy traffic and the horizontal impacts experienced on busy bridges. The anchoring components are firmly welded with the beams and embedded steel on the bridge deck, ensuring that vehicle loads are reliably transferred to the abutment. This robust construction guarantees structural integrity and long-lasting durability, making it suitable for bridges designed to support loads of over 20 tons for steam and 120 tons for hanging.
2. Sensitive Expansion
The device's displacement control system incorporates spring elements such as rubber springs, PTFE pressure bearings, and inclined support members. This design ensures uniform displacement with minimal friction during expansion and contraction, providing a highly responsive and reliable expansion system.
3. Smooth Bridge Deck, Comfortable Traveling
This innovative device not only accommodates the free expansion and contraction of the beam but also ensures that the bridge deck joints form a seamless and smooth surface. This design promotes a comfortable, smooth driving experience for all vehicles crossing the bridge.
4. Water Stopping and Corrosion Prevention
Each group of steel beams features a neoprene rubber sealing strip embedded in a groove. This comprehensive design, tailored to the bridge width, provides excellent elastic deformation, waterproofing, and dustproof capabilities, effectively protecting the internal components of the expansion joints and the bottom bearing from erosion.
5. Large Displacement, Convenient Selection
Engineered for versatility, this device offers a displacement range from 80 to 1200mm, designed and manufactured according to specific moduli. Bridge design and construction teams can easily select the appropriate displacement to match the actual expansion and contraction requirements of the bridge superstructure.
Telescopic Resistance:
Single-Seam Expansion Joint
1. During contraction, the compression force is 0.1KN/m.
2. The longitudinal shear force within the expansion joint's working range is 2.0KN/m.
Multi-Seam Expansion Joint
1. During contraction, the compression force is 0.1KN/m.
2. When stretching, the tensile force is 4.0KN/m.
