With a remarkably low structural height, these joints are ideal for refurbishing old bridge expansion devices and are equally suited for new bridge constructions. They accommodate an impressive expansion and contraction range of 20-120mm, adhering to specifications such as C40, C60, C80, D40, D60, D80, D100, D120, RG40, RG60, RG80. The primary structural forms include C type, RG type, F type, Z type, E type, and M type.
The RG type bridge expansion joint device is a groundbreaking solution designed for highway bridge constructions in China. Featuring an overall hot-rolled 16Mn special-shaped steel, the RG type sets a new standard. Its technical performance and indicators match or surpass leading international products. This innovative structural type will soon be a staple in transportation industry standards. With a low building height and an integral formed irregular steel standing just 50mm tall, the RG type is perfect for bridges with a deck pavement thickness of 80mm or more and an expansion range of up to 80mm. It facilitates easy replacement of old devices and is also suitable for new bridge projects.
The rubber sealing strip in the middle of the RG type bridge expansion device meets stringent technical requirements: Using chloroprene rubber (CR) sealing tape, it is perfect for regions with temperatures ranging from -25 ºC to +60 ºC. For areas experiencing temperatures between -40 ºC and +60 ºC, natural rubber (NR) sealing tape is the ideal choice.
