Product Introduction
Description:
High Damping Seismic Isolation Isolators
are a series of cutting-edge components for seismic isolation bridges, meticulously developed by China Communications First Highway Survey, Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. These isolators adhere to the stringent national standards (GB 20688), relevant industry norms, and also incorporate European standards. This innovative series is the result of patented technological advancements funded by significant provincial and ministerial scientific research projects. It has successfully passed the rigorous provincial and ministerial scientific and technological achievement appraisals (Shaan Ke Jian Zi [2010]) No. 097 and various related certifications. Now elevated to the transportation industry standard of the People's Republic of China (JT 2009-26), these isolators are ideal for diverse types of highways and municipal bridges in regions with seismic intensities of 9 degrees and below.
Isolation rubber bearings not only encompass all the capabilities of traditional plate bearings but also offer superior isolation performance, significantly mitigating earthquake-induced damage to bridges. High damping rubber bearings, a specialized type of isolation rubber bearing, are fabricated from high damping rubber materials and deliver an impressive damping ratio of 10% to 16%. Structurally identical to natural rubber bearings, these bearings feature rubber materials with high viscosity, enabling them to self-absorb energy and exhibit outstanding ductility. By extending the natural vibration period during earthquakes, they effectively reduce seismic forces and leverage their energy dissipation properties to provide exceptional seismic isolation, paralleling the performance of lead core sandwich rubber bearings.
Utilizing high damping composite rubber material as a substitute for the traditional lead core, these bearings adjust the proportion of filling material to modulate the total damping, thereby enhancing their energy consumption capabilities and improving seismic isolation. High damping rubber bearings boast stable performance, robust energy dissipation, and significant ductility. They feature higher equivalent viscous damping, meaning superior energy dissipation, and deliver remarkable seismic isolation effects, effectively controlling the seismic response of isolated structures. Their multifunctional design results in a more compact volume compared to lead core bearings, conserving space, facilitating easier construction, and offering a more cost-effective solution.
