The Main Working Principle of Modular Multi-Group Joints
1. Support Transmission System
When vehicles travel at high speeds across the expansion and contraction devices, they generate both vertical and horizontal forces. The center beam, mounted on the supporting crossbeam that spans the primary spacing, integrates with it to create a powerful force-bearing unit. As vehicles exert pressure, these reactive forces are efficiently transferred to the edges of the device. Concurrently, the device moves freely, accommodating the bridge deck's expansion and contraction displacements.
2. Elastic Control System
The interface between the supporting crossbeam and the pressure-bearing components features a sliding surface, enabling smooth and seamless movement. The spring mechanism ensures that the expansion device adapts precisely to the bridge's continuous deformations while maintaining uniform gaps. For seam widths exceeding 35mm, the sealing tape can be easily replaced without compromising the structural integrity.
3. Waterproofness
Our precision-engineered sealing rubber strips not only seal the gaps between steel beams effectively but also adapt seamlessly to the structure's expansion and contraction. The end of the sealing rubber strip fits snugly into the groove of the steel profile, ensuring a secure fit that resists detachment and maintains superior waterproofing.
